Speakers John Mullally
John Mullally is a senior executive with extensive experience in Indigenous relations, public policy, and major project development across Canada’s natural resource and infrastructure sectors and around the world.
He is currently the Head of External Relations and Social Performance for Newmont Corporation in Canada, where he works at the intersection of government affairs, Indigenous partnership, and sustainable project development – helping advance some of the country’s most significant mining and critical minerals projects.
Over his career, John has built a strong record of fostering long-term partnerships between industry, Indigenous Nations, and all levels of government to enable responsible investment, local participation, and shared prosperity. His work spans strategic policy development, complex negotiations, and multi-party governance frameworks that integrate economic growth with reconciliation and environmental stewardship.
John holds an MBA from INSEAD and has worked around on 4 different continents and is fluent in French and Spanish.
He lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, with his wife and three young boys, where they enjoy exploring the beautiful British Columbia.
