Richard Wong is Vice President of Regulatory and Operations at the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) and a member of its Executive Leadership Team. He leads major policy and regulatory initiatives across Western and Atlantic Canada, working with governments and regulators to advance the development of safe, reliable, affordable, and responsibly produced Canadian energy. Richard also serves on the boards of the Alberta Orphan Well Association, Energy Safety Canada, and Alberta Data Partnerships. A professional engineer, he brings deep operational and policy experience from senior engineering and leadership roles in the upstream oil and natural gas sector.
