Tamlyn is passionate about the confluence of western science and indigenous knowledge and how they can be utilized to build understanding between industry and First Nations throughout the natural resource lifecycle. This passion is rooted both in her Nlaka’pamux heritage and technical background. Tamlyn holds a B.Sc. in Biology and Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria.

Tamlyn has worked with both industry and First Nations to develop tools and processes to bridge the two ways of knowing to support developing meaningful relationships through environmental management, regulatory engagement, environmental assessment, economic development and impact benefit agreement implementation.
