Vice President, Asset Development, Chevron Canada
Alan Dunlop is the Vice President of Asset Development, a position he has held since July 1, 2016. He is responsible for developing Chevron’s upstream interests in Canada including unconventional resource developments in western Canada, the Kitimat LNG Project, and managing Canadian exploration activities. He was previously vice president and general manager of the Kitimat LNG Project with Chevron Canada.
Alan joined Chevron in 1981 after graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. During his career, he has held numerous assignments in Engineering, Development, Production, Exploration, LNG Development, Planning and Business Development, including assignments in Calgary, Edmonton, and Red Deer, Canada; Perth, Australia, and San Ramon, California. Alan is a registered professional engineer in Alberta.
