• What: An inspiring tour of BC Cancer- Prince George (Centre for the North), to hear about how renowned clinicians and scientists are transforming a once-remote centre into a hub for precision radiation research and culturally safe care. Led, by Dr. Rob Olson, Executive Medical Director for Prince George, and the BC Cancer Indigenous Cancer Control team, this interactive experience will highlight how we’re accelerative access to life-saving treatments for Northern communities. You’ll hear about groundbreaking research initiatives like SIMPLIFY- a cutting-edge international clinical trial that reduces barriers for patients who may otherwise journey up to 12 hours for care. We hope you’ll join us in learning how we’re building a stronger, more equitable cancer care system for the years ahead.
